I am happy to share this news of the dedication of this years town report. 50 Years of service each to the Hope Fire Department. I salute , Alex Ludwig, Dana Winchenbach and Fred Holbrook. They have been instrumental in shaping the fire department in to what it is today. I am so proud to have been their chief for 36 years of their tenure.

A big shout out to my crew and our mutual aid partners from Rockport Fire and Union Fire for assisting with this garage fire last night on Martzville Road. The garage was fully involved upon our arrival and a total loss, but because of the efforts of our crews we were able to protect the house that was 50 feet away with minimal damage.
