HVYSL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR GRADUATING SENIORS 🎓⚽️

Each year Hudson Valley gives out several scholarships to Graduating Seniors.

Complete information on these scholarships is available on the League website: https://hvysl.org/scholarships/

Applications are due to us by June 15th. All applications must be submitted electronically via email.

Additionally, Eastern New York Youth Soccer, our state association, also has a number of scholarships available to graduating seniors. You can find information on their website at www.enysoccer.com under Programs.

As part of the ENYYSA-HVYSL-Gotham FC women’s professional soccer team partnership, the Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League’s AYSO United Girls U16 travel soccer team got the opportunity to attend a Gotham FC workshop hosted by Tierna Davidson of Gotham FC and the US Women’s National Team. Power Lab is a program focusing specifically on the needs of female athletes; injury prevention, nutrition and hydration, rest and recovery, strength and conditioning, and advocacy.

Thanks to Gotham FC, our young female athletes are getting the information and advice they need to develop and thrive in their chosen sports. We expect to see more of these opportunities for our girls teams in the future as the partnership grows. HVYSL is working to provide these opportunities to help grow girls soccer in the Hudson Valley and keep our female players in the game.

Today we celebrate all of the amazing soccer moms who make our league so special — the coach moms leading from the sidelines, the referee moms keeping the game moving, and the moms cheering the loudest from the touchline every single weekend!

Thank you for the early mornings, long drives, team snacks, sideline support, and everything you do behind the scenes to support our players and clubs. We appreciate you more than words can say!

🌧⚽ HVYSL Week 2 – Spring Season ⚽🌧

Wishing all of our teams, players, coaches, referees, and families the best of luck in Week 2 this Sunday! Please be prepared for wet conditions and plan accordingly.

In the event of a club-wide postponement, club Presidents should email the HVYSL Games Chairman ([email protected]) and HVYSL Operations Manager ([email protected]).

Home team officials (coach or manager) are responsible for emailing and calling the opposing team officials and their Age Group Coordinator.

All postponed games due to weather should be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe.
