⚠ATTENTION MOTORISTS: Crews will be out paving along Beekman Road (CR-9) in East Fishkill this week (weather depending!) between Route 82 and Stormville Road. Please be sure to leave extra time to get through the construction zone and be sure to obey all posted speed limits and directions from flaggers.

Many thanks to our hard working crews out round the clock getting us back up and running. In the meantime, please remember that when a traffic light is out, treat it like a four way stop! It’s rough enough out there this week, we don’t want to see anyone out here playing bumper cars 🙃

I’ve got to give a shout out to both the Rec and Highway staff this week. Camp started this week, and here in this house it’s been rated a 10/10, five star, A+ experience. From swim fun to ice cream to arts and crafts with friends, my little dude comes home every afternoon happy and exhausted in the best possible way.

On the way to camp dropoff this morning I passed the Highway crew doing some work on Baker. It’s a serious scorcher today and they were out there directing traffic and working on the road.

Thanks to all, whether you are keeping us safe and sound out on the roads or making a safe and happy environment for our local families and kids to play. Beekman is the best!

That’s a wrap on the Masters of Public Administration. Thank you to the Beekman folks for coming to my graduation and making it a great night! And we had such a great tour of the Capitol with our Assemblyman and Senator as well!

We’re looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our team this season!

Requirements:
✔ Must be 18 years of age or older
✔ Ability to work outdoors in summer heat, rain, and wind
✔ Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
✔ Strong work ethic with verifiable references (teachers, coaches, supervisors, etc.)
✔ Carpentry skills are a plus

Job Responsibilities:
🔹 Maintain grounds: mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, w**d whacking, leaf blowing, raking, and caring for flower beds
🔹 Prepare and maintain ball fields (dragging, lining, adjusting bases)
🔹 Assist with building upkeep: cleaning, window washing, scrubbing floors
🔹 Collect and dispose of trash and garbage
🔹 Set up and break down chairs, tables, and equipment for programs
🔹 Clean and maintain tools and equipment
🔹 Operate trucks, mowers, and other machinery

💲 Pay: $21.00 per hour
