Classes are back up and running. We've already had 3 classes so far. Not sure what we're gonna be able to do the rest of this year. I'll try to post everything from here on out.

All in person classes are suspended until further notice. As of right now, this is the only way to get a hunter safety card (orange card).

NEED HUNTER EDUCATION? All in-person classes are suspended but you can still get your certification in 2 easy steps.

2. Upload a video of your “Range Day” safe shooting demo.

***Processing your hunter education card may take up to two weeks, so please take the course well in advance of when you plan to hunt.*** ONCE processing is completed, you can go to My Profile and print: https://app.fw.ky.gov/myprofile/
Those who have not completed the hunter education course have the option of obtaining a temporary hunter education exemption permit. The one-time permit, which is good for one year, is now being offered FREE for a limited time.

If you were born after Jan. 1, 1975 and not Hunter Education exempt, then you will need your Hunter Education Card along with proper permits and a license to hunt legally in Kentucky this season.

Ok folks. Currently the governor wont let us have classes until at least after August. And no promises that we can have them then. If you need a orange card go to fw.ky.gov. look up hunter education, and it will tell you an alternate way to get you card. But you have to follow the rules exactly. Pay close attention to every detail on what to do. If you need help let me know and I'll help as much as I can
