Hopkins Noon-Time Lions will bring their Donut trailer to the Hopkins Firemans open house on 17th Ave. this Saturday from 10 AM to 1 PM. We are collecting free will donations of non-perishable food and cash for the ICA food shelf in exchange for mini donuts. We hope to see you there!

President Mary Kaiser-Sears (right) and Lion Marci Lujambio (center) presented a check to Laura Hermann, Manager of Open Circle Adult Daycare, on behalf of the Hopkins Noontime Lions Club. The check represented the proceeds of the Open Circle Spaghetti Dinner benefit held in early April. We had record attendance this year. The benefit dinner has been held annually since 2001. Lion Marci has been the Head Chef all 19 years!

The numbers are in! In 2017, EBAA member eye banks in the U.S. provided tissue for 84,297 sight restoring cornea transplants.

This achievement was made possible by the generosity of 68,565 cornea donors in the U.S. Thank you to the cornea donors and their families, the dedicated eye bank staff members, and the talented corneal surgeons for making the possible.
