A successful and productive trip to D.C. with the Citizens for Fort Campbell over the last couple days. It was a great opportunity to ensure our voice is heard, discuss concerns and always support Fort Campbell.

Started with a visit to the Pentagon and then to our elected officials in the House and Senate. Thanks to Kelli Pendelton and the Chamber for the coordination & scheduling. Also thanks to Virginia Gray and TVA for the wonderful reception Tuesday evening. These two ladies are phenomenal individuals.

A very nice coin I was presented today, during my trip to Frankfort, by the General Assembly as the Distinguished Veteran during the HB192 committee meeting. Thanks to Rep Walker Wood Thomas for the invite.

Had the pleasure of spending time with Rep. Walker Thomas today and supporting HB192. I appreciated the invite to come speak.
Also spoke with Rep Myron Dossett briefly and appreciate his support as well. I even ran into Sen. Westerfield leaving the Capitol. So very successful trip I would say

Thank you W5 Tom Johnson and Retired Garrison Commander Rob Salome for driving to Frankfort today. Together with Colonel Blaine Hedges, Lieutenant Colonel Jack Dill, Lieutenant Colonel Jessie Murnock and Chairman Tim Moore we were able to pass HB192 out of committee. This bill had 32 co-sponsors and incentivizes Military Retirees to locate in our great state of Kentucky. Although this bill has a fiscal impact on our budget, it will help attract some of the best trained men and women to our communities.

Carmella and I would like to say thanks to the wonderful people in Hopkinsville that we have met the last few months. We will cherish the new friendships long after the election is over. We would also like to say thanks to all the people that have supported us through this process. Some of you have given of your time, some have made donations, some have said kind words of support to your neighbors and friends, and others have done all three. So from the bottom of our hearts we truly appreciate everything anybody has done for us.
Now I ask for one more favor, please get out tomorrow and exercise your most precious right and vote for Tom Johnson for Hopkinsville City Council. I promise you will not be disappointed.
