Our goal has always been to help change the reputation and culture of Freedom Elementary for the better. It truly takes a village to build and support the next generation and that village includes our staff, our students, and our families. Today, one of our parents stopped by to bless our staff with treats for Teacher Appreciation Week. Moments like this remind us that while we may not always agree on everything, mutual respect, understanding, and support go hand in hand.
We love our students, and we love our families. Together, we can continue making Freedom Elementary everything it is meant to be.

Students explored important skills that will help them become strong leaders, problem solvers, communicators, and future-ready learners. We are so proud of the way they participated and represented Freedom Elementary!

Today we celebrate Principal’s Day and take a moment to recognize our amazing principal for all she does for our students, staff, families, and school community. She took on a big task this year, and she has done it with strength, grace, and a heart for our school. Her leadership, dedication, and willingness to serve do not go unnoticed. Thank you for showing up each day, making tough decisions, encouraging others, having a serving heart and continuing to move Freedom Elementary forward. We appreciate the time, energy, and love you pour into our students, staff, and families.

Meet Angie Daniel, Freedom Elementary School's Certified Staff of the Year.

Angie Daniel is a 1st grade teacher at Freedom Elementary where she has taught for three years after 22 years as an instructional assistant. She goes above and beyond for her students, motivating them to do their best and maximizing every moment of learning. Known for her passion, dedication, and creative approach—even turning routine moments into teaching opportunities—Ms. Daniel inspires both students and colleagues.

Elizabeth “Lauren” Adkinson has served as the office clerk at Freedom Elementary for all four years of her career. She goes above and beyond to ensure students, staff, and parents feel welcomed, supported, and valued. As the first point of contact for families, her warmth, professionalism, and calm presence set the tone for the entire school community.
