Boy Scout Troop 1 Hopkinton

Boy Scout Troop 1 Hopkinton Scouting America Troop, Hopkinton, MA, founded in 1915. Meets on Monday nights during the school year. Our chartered organization is Faith Community Church.

Troop 1 is a Boy Scout Troop of about 40 scouts, serving the youth of Hopkinton, Massachusetts since 1916. Our current Scoutmaster is Mike Dionne [email protected]. Troop meetings are held at the Faith Community Church on Mondays at 146 East Main St, Hopkinton. Scouts should be in their Class A uniforms unless otherwise instructed for a particular meeting. Pre-meeting activities begin at 6

:45pm. The formal meeting begins at 7:00pm and ends at 8:30pm. Some evenings Scouts may remain after the meetings doing planning, individual instruction, or advancement. During the meetings, the Scouts work on merit badges, and Scouting and leadership skills. They also plan for upcoming trips by checking and organizing necessary equipment, planning menus and assigning chores. The meetings usually end with a game that is decided by and lead by one of the patrols. If there is no school, there is no meeting.

If you are struggling financially this holiday season but would still like a tree for your family, we will discount even further down to any price you can afford.
