Notice: Due to wastewater treatment plant construction, the River Bend Park driving loop will be closed on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, beginning at 6:00 a.m. The current plan is to reopen the loop later that day once the tie-in work is completed. The park will remain open to pedestrian traffic.

Due to the weather event this week the City of Horicon DPW will be doing a special brush pickup starting Monday 6/15/26. We have received multiple calls regarding an extra brush pickup.

Due to an incident in downtown Horicon the right hand turn lane westbound at the stop and go lights will be temporarily closed.

The Horicon Utilities are starting their Spring Hydrant flushing, Monday May 11th and will be going through next week until May 22nd. If you see discolored water there is no cause for alarm, just run the cold water in the faucet until it clears up.

📢 Public Informational Meeting – Wastewater Rate Increase
The City of Horicon will host a public informational meeting on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 4:00–6:00 PM to discuss the upcoming wastewater rate increase.

The meeting will include:
• A brief presentation by MSA on the wastewater treatment plant upgrade
• A presentation by Ehlers Finance Advisors, who conducted the rate study
• Time for questions and discussion

Can’t attend in person? The meeting will be streamed live on the City’s YouTube page and recorded for later viewing.
