The Horicon Police Department is pleased to announce that we are starting a K9 program and are seeking donations. This program will help keep our community and surrounding areas safer. Any donation will help this program come closer to a reality.

July saw us dispatched to another 48 calls. Not included in that 48 was a stand by for Mayville EMS who had all of their available units out, and we also did a stand by at Concert in the Park at the beginning of July due to the extreme heat. Our total for the year is at 356 calls through the end of July.

UPDATE: We received notice from the railroad that the project is taking longer than expected. They now plan to have the tracks open Thursday morning.

There will be something for everyone, so bring the whole family and come enjoy a great evening with us!

Call Volume for June 2026 is the lowest of the year so far at 39. This brings our total through 6 months of 2026 to 308, down from 330 YTD in 2025.

Be safe this next week as the weather appears to be near or above 90 all through the week. Keep an eye on the city pages for designated cooling centers as we expect heat indexes to exceed 100 degrees again this week.
