PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
On Thursday, April 4, 2024, beginning at approximately 9:00 AM, you may see police, fire, and other first responder activity in the vicinity of Bolivar Central High School. PLEASE DO NOT BE ALARMED.
Prom season is upon us with Bolivar Central's prom coming up this weekend. Prom night is a milestone event for students. It is paramount that we prioritize safety and emphasize responsible choices to ensure that this memorable night does not turn into a regrettable one.
During this time on Thursday, the Bolivar Police Department, along with school faculty and other emergency agencies, will be teaming up to demonstrate a Mock Crash scenario for the senior class. The purpose of the demonstration is to educate students on the dangers of drinking and driving.
In essence, prom night should be a time of joy, celebration, and making happy memories. By being proactive and promoting a culture of safety and responsibility, everyone can contribute to making prom a positive and safe experience. Let’s ensure that prom night is remembered for all the right reasons, by keeping safety at the forefront of this significant occasion.
