Tonight at dinner the kids said the prayer as is how it is most of the time, but tonight they threw in "thank you for the rain." Us "big busy adults" forget about the small things like rain.
The rain helps us alot, it helps to grow the crops for our farmers, it gets our cars dirty so we can go to the car wash, it makes the grass grow so our lawn care companies can continue to pay thier bills and employ citizens.
So many politicians now days are too busy voting themselves raises, that they are doing nothing for the people that put them in the position that they are in.
If elected I would like to begin the process of moving Horse Cave forward, out of the slump of corruption we find ourselves in. Begin by building a strong open line between citizens and government.
Rebuild and reshape the commerce. Bring tourism back.
There is so much I would like to accomplish, I love this town. I've spoken with people that remember what Horse Cave was like 40 and 50 years ago. I've seen the pain in their eyes as they talked about the difference between then and now, there should be no pain...it should be pride

Wonderful trip to Kentucky Down Under Adventure Zoo today, a little on the chilly side. All the animals were out, the staff was all extremely nice and helpful. If you haven't been it is a great attraction in Horse Cave
