🚨 “Meanwhile… somewhere over Philadelphia…” 🚨

“Sir, there are military aircraft landing at Biddle.”
“Relax. It’s just the 111th showing employers why their workers disappear one weekend a month.” 😎✈️

Today, the 111th Attack Wing is hosting an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Bosslift event. Throughout the day, visitors will experience military aircraft operations and get an up-close look at the mission our Citizen-Airmen perform in service to the Commonwealth and the nation.

Residents near Biddle ANG Base may notice increased aircraft activity, including arrivals and departures, as part of this scheduled event. All operations are routine and planned.

No emergency.
Just your hometown Airmen doing cool Air Force stuff. 🇺🇸

From the track to the mission 🇺🇸

This week, members of our team had the opportunity to attend the Penn Relays in Philadelphia—one of the most historic and prestigious track & field events in the world, now celebrating its 130th running.

Held in the birthplace of our nation during the 250th anniversary year, the atmosphere reflected both tradition and excellence. Witnessing elite athletic performance at this level reinforces the same discipline, resilience, and commitment to excellence we value in the Air National Guard.

Proud to engage with driven, high-achieving athletes who embody what it means to perform at the highest level.

Exercise Notification – Increased Activity at Biddle ANG Base

Residents in the surrounding community may notice increased activity at and around Biddle Air National Guard Base from today through Sunday as the 111th Attack Wing conducts a Combat Readiness Inspection (CRI).

During this time, you may see or hear:

• Simulated noises associated with training

Access to the installation will be limited to authorized base personnel only during this period.

This is a planned exercise designed to evaluate readiness and ensure Airmen are prepared to respond to real-world missions.

Big congratulations to SSgt Ryan Rawson!

The 111th First Sergeant Council has selected SSgt Rawson of the 111th Logistics Readiness Squadron as this quarter’s Diamond Sharp Award winner — and it’s easy to see why.

He goes far beyond the mission every single day. Whether supporting veterans, helping in local orphanages, or rescuing animals in need, he lives out in action!
