šŸŽšŸš“Back to school with our SROs!! The halls are getting busy, the backpacks are packed and our Polar Bears have returned to school.

As we kick off a new school year, we're excited to have our HASD School Resource Officers, Hauser, and McCready back in the halls and out in our schools. Our SROs keep our schools safe, build positive relationships with students and staff, lend a helping hand and are a friendly face throughout the school year.

Welcome back, Hortonville! Let's make it a great year!! šŸ»ā€ā„ļøšŸ“š

***Student Crossing and Main Street Construction Update***

Due to ongoing construction on Main Street, we will be making temporary adjustments to student crossing locations to help ensure the safety of our students and families.

A crossing guard will be added at the intersection of Main Street and Olk Street during the construction period.

We strongly encourage Hortonville Area School District students to follow the designated red-line route and avoid crossing Main Street and Nash Street, where active construction will be occurring.
A crossing guard will continue to be present at Main Street and Nash Street to support student safety and assist Bethlehem students who need to cross at that location.

The yellow circles on the map identify locations with dedicated crossing guards. In addition, we will actively monitor the intersection of Olk Street and Towne Drive to help address the needs of students who may use this crossing.

We recognize that construction in and around our school zones may create additional challenges for students, families, and motorists this school year. We appreciate everyone's patience, cooperation, and increased attention to safety as we work through these temporary changes.

As construction progresses, we will continue to monitor traffic patterns and student crossing needs. We will evaluate these routes and provide additional communication regarding any necessary adjustments and long-term planning.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and partnership in keeping our students safe.

Just thought I’d post a picture of Hortonville Police Department helping Grand Chute Police Department at their Culver’s…

I’m not saying we have a winner for this year’s Cops@Culver’s Day… what I am saying is that BEFORE I turn the donation website over to our Photo COPetition page, there is STILL TIME to donate towards your local Culver’s and favorite law enforcement agency to ā€œupsetā€ some of our numbers 😁

As we close out the week, we want to reflect and thank everyone for attending National Night Out 2026!!!

What an event, we had about 650 attendees this year. It went exactly as designed by gathering community members and forming partnerships to make our Village safer and stronger.

We couldn’t do this without our donors, so please take a look at those who made this event possible.

Again, thank you!!!
