For our monthly training tonight, we spent time refreshing on hydrant hookup/operations, water shuttle, and flowing water and simple hose line advancement.

These are some of the very basic actions that take place on any fire scene, but their importance is not something to be taken lightly and it was good for our guys to run through it a few times to remain sharp!

Another successful Softball tournament is in the books! A huge thank you to all of the departments, teams, fans, and community members that came out in the gorgeous weather to support our department!

Pictured is a list of the gun raffle winners. If you see your name, you can reach out to the Firefighter that sold you the ticket, otherwise we will call you to figure out how to get you your prize.

If you were in the basket raffles, you will also get a call about your winnings and how we can best get it to you.

Thank you all once again for making it a great weekend! This goes a long way in upgrading & maintaining the equipment we use to keep our communities, and surrounding communities, a safe place to live.

This weekend we host our Annual Fire/Ems Softball tournament at Otto Miller Park! Everyone is invited!

Each year, departments from the area (and some from further away!) head to Hortonville for a weekend filled with fun and softball!

Games start at 6pm Friday night, and then again at 9am Saturday morning.

Basket Raffles will be available Saturday. Gun Raffle tickets are still available. All drawings will happen sometime Saturday afternoon.

All are welcome, and full concessions stand will be available! Stop on out and support Hortonville-Hortonia Fire Department!
