The Ellington Emergency Services Foundation is looking for community-minded people interested in getting involved with our board.

You do not need fire or EMS experience. We are looking for dependable people who are willing to share ideas, help with community projects and events, support fundraising efforts, and strengthen the resources available to our local emergency services.

• Social media and community communications
• Event planning and coordination
• Fundraising, sponsorships, and donor outreach

You do not need fire or EMS experience. We are looking for dependable people who want to share ideas, help organize meaningful community efforts, and strengthen the resources available to our local emergency services.

Whether you have a little time to contribute or simply want to learn more about the Foundation, we would be glad to talk with you.

Help us celebrate Captain Crystal Hockers 15yrs of service to the Ellington Fire Dept. 🎉 She was introduced to the fire service through the Grand Chute Explorers program where she was actively involved in fire fighting activities. Eventually joining our team soon after. Within EFD 🚒🧯, Crystal demonstrated leadership qualities and achieved a promotion to Captain within the department not long after completing a fire officer class. We are extremely thrilled for the service she brings to our community. Crystal works for the Wisconsin Veterans home in King, WI in the public safety dept. Send her a thank you in the comments for her service not only to EFD, but for our military veterans.

Firefest is around the corner on September 12th. Our time of the year to ask for the support of the community. The money raised goes right back into improving our emergency services for our community and others who are in need. Blizzards, ice storms, floods, and Tornados we are there for you.

Ellington Fire was invited to help out with ST Patrick's church parade this morning. We started and ended the parade. Please give us any pictures you can so we can enjoy the parade with you.

We would like to congratulate Austin Wasmund for 1 year of service. Austin was born and raised in Greenville. He has been on Greenville Fire Dept since 2021. He moved to Ellington in 2024 and has since joined EFD as well. He works at Wasmund Carpentry doing finish carpentry. In his spare time Austin enjoys hunting, fishing, going up north, and helping the community. We are very happy to have Austin join our Ellington family. Send him a comment in appreciation!
