Yesterday, Susie and Sarah had a productive meeting with Jon and Mandy at the UGA Student Veterans Resource Center. This meeting is part of an initiative to get the next generation of veterans involved with their local AMVETS chapter (hopefully, Post 12 😊)

On June 14, 1775, the Second Continental Congress approved the formation of a Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. This new Army would unite colonial militias and put them under federal control. George Washington was nominated to serve as the Commander-in-Chief of the Army.
