A Special Surprise from England!

Our Pearl residents recently received a wonderful surprise all the way from England! Samantha, a family member of one of our employees, was kind enough to think of our residents while traveling abroad. She carefully selected a variety of postcards featuring beautiful scenes from across England and even took the time to write a description on each one. The residents thoroughly enjoyed receiving mail from another country and learning about the places pictured on the cards.

A simple act of kindness can make such a big difference, and these postcards certainly brought smiles and sparked conversations throughout our community.

The Phoenix bird, Finn, has finally made it to our community, and we couldn't be more excited! We hope he's ready for lots of fun and adventure.
To kick off his visit, Finn joined us for our Lunch Bunch outing at Pig Tales. It was a beautiful day to relax by the lake, take in the gorgeous scenery, and enjoy a delicious lunch with friends. Finn seemed right at home soaking up the sunshine and making new memories with our residents!
We can't wait to see where his next adventure takes him. Stay tuned for more of Finn's travels around our community!

Our Pearl residents had a wonderful time celebrating National Italian Day! We explored Italy's beautiful culture, even sharing memories of travels and experiences there. They also enjoyed a hands-on cooking demonstration, creating adorable Pizza Cookies using plain shortbread cookies, red icing, coconut flakes and M&M's. What a fun afternoon filled with reminiscing and delicious treats!

What an amazing time we had at the line dancing class! Residents were all smiles as they jumped up on their feet, learning new steps and enjoying the rhythm. It was incredible to see everyone getting into the groove, and by the end, many looked like seasoned pros! For those who preferred to sit it out, they brought the fun to the sidelines, moving their feet to the beat and cheering everyone on. It was a wonderful community moment filled with laughter, joy, and a whole lot of fun!

Pete always knows how to bring in a crowd with his Great Lives Lecture. Today he had a packed house as he shared the history of The Beatles along with some of their classic songs. The music had everyone smiling, reminiscing, and even a few residents up on their feet dancing! What a wonderful afternoon filled with memoires, music, and fun.
