Take part in our Pumpkin Art Display during October at Hosford Library! Create a non-perishable piece of art inspired by pumpkins and we'll display it all October.

Here's a cute example from last year's display!

Libraries should return to their normal schedule next week. We suggest you follow Liberty County Florida Emergency Management page for more information about storm impacts.

In August 2026, you checked out over 15,000 digital ebooks, eaudiobooks, and emagazines from the Libby app! We love that Northwest Regional Library System library card holders enjoy this service and hope to continue connecting you to the books you love for years to come.

All you need is your library card number and PIN to access all that the Libby app has to offer. For more information, call or visit your local library!

In celebration of National Library Card Sign Up Month, here are some numbers that show how much our communities love our libraries! The Northwest Regional Library System has 7 libraries across three counties: Bay, Gulf, and Liberty County.

From October 2025 - August 2026, over 255,000 people visited our libraries! There were over 550,000 items checked out (physical and digital combined), and library staff facilitated over 1,100 in-person programs with almost 20,000 people attending. That doesn't even include all of the in-person activities like scavenger hunts and craft kits that staff create for you, or off-site programs where we provide outreach to our communities.

We are so grateful and glad that library resources are relevant and useful to you! To learn more about what your local library has to offer, visit our website at nwrls.com to see what's happening.

This week's theme is "turning over a new leaf," so be prepared for some fall-themed fun!

This program is best suited for ages 4 - 10, but kids of all ages are welcome.
