The Fall River County Courthouse will be closed Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day. Regular hours will resume Tuesday, September 8th.

School is back in session! That means more buses, more kids walking and biking, and more families on the roads during morning and afternoon drop off times. Please slow down, stay alert, and watch for stopped school buses. Remember: flashing red lights mean stop. Let’s work together to keep our kids safe this school year.

Culvert Replacement on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 will cause a segment of Dewey Road (county road 6463) to be closed to through traffic.

Detour Route will be Elbow Canyon Road to Burlington Dam Road.

Closure is expected to last from 6am to 6pm.

Week of August 17th: The assessor teams are finishing up Water’s Edge Subdivision and a couple other properties on the west side of the lake. Update: Having finished the work marked on our first map for this week the assessors will be moving on to Water’s Edge Subdivision, Lake Hills Rd, and Lazy Bay Rd on the west side of the lake. Assessors will be out in this area Friday, August 14th and also next week. See website for updated map.
