🎉✈️ Celebrating National Aviation Day at KHOT! ✈️🎉

What a fantastic day at KHOT as we celebrated National Aviation Day with a Fly-In, Pancake Breakfast, and a delicious lunch of Hamburgers & Hot Dogs!

The day was a huge success, and we were thrilled to welcome pilots, airport tenants, friends, families, and members of the aviation community. National Aviation Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the history, excitement, and importance of aviation—and, most importantly, the people who make our aviation community so special.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who flew in, stopped by, volunteered, helped with the food, or simply came out to celebrate with us. Your support helped make National Aviation Day at KHOT one to remember!

Here’s to the pilots, airport tenants, aviation enthusiasts, volunteers, and everyone who keeps the spirit of flight alive. We’re already looking forward to the next gathering! ✈️❤️

KHOT exterior renovations are officially underway! ✈️ We’re also seeing the beginnings of the new hangar on the South side of the airport. Exciting progress ahead!

On Wednesday, August 19th, we will be hosting a Fly-In and National Aviation Day Celebration here at the FBO at Hot Springs Memorial Field.

This special event is an opportunity to bring together the people who make up and support our airport community. Airport tenants, passengers, airport staff, business and aviation partners, local pilots, and visiting fly-in guests are invited to join us as we celebrate National Aviation Day and the important role aviation plays in our community.

The morning will begin with a pancake breakfast from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. A hamburger and hot dog lunch will begin at noon and continue while supplies last.

In addition to celebrating National Aviation Day, the event will serve as a meet and greet with our FBO and airport staff. We want the people who use, work at, and partner with Hot Springs Memorial Field to have an opportunity to enjoy a meal together, meet the team members who help keep the airport operating each day, and connect with others in our aviation community.

We hope that if you are an airport tenant, passenger, staff member, business partner, local pilot, or visiting aviator, you will stop by and spend some time with us. Our goal is to create a relaxed and welcoming event that brings our airport community together, strengthens relationships, and gives everyone an opportunity to connect with the people who help make Hot Springs Memorial Field a great place to work, travel, and do business.

What an unforgettable 4th of July celebration at the airport. ✈️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate and support our airport community. Because of your generosity, we raised an incredible amount of money for two wonderful charities, and we couldn't have done it without you!

A special shout-out to Bill Burrough, Lance Spicer, Don Rowlett and Dustin Smith for being such great sports in the dunk tank. You gave everyone plenty of laughs while helping raise money for a great cause!

Thank you to Zach Davis for the fantastic live music that helped make the party even more special.

Events like these remind us what a wonderful airport community we have. Whether you donated or simply came out to celebrate, thank you for making the day such a success.
