๐Ÿ’™ WHY WE RIDE.

Behind every mile of the Ouachita Gran Fondo is a child who needs someone in their corner.

Ouachita Childrenโ€™s Center (OCC) serves youth ages 6โ€“17 who are facing some of lifeโ€™s most difficult circumstances. Some have experienced abuse or neglect. Some are homeless or have run away. Others simply need guidance, stability, and a safe place to turn.

OCC provides a 24-hour emergency shelter, counseling, educational support, case management, family services, and opportunities that help young people move toward brighter, more successful futures.

The average age of a young person receiving OCC services is just 15 years old.

Thatโ€™s why we ride.

Every registration. Every sponsor. Every volunteer. Every mile.

Itโ€™s all about helping OCC continue to be there when a child needs them most. ๐Ÿ’™

We ride for the kids. We ride for their futures. We ride for Ouachita Children, Youth, & Family Services

Hi, Friends! We are in need of hygiene supplies for our OCC kids.... can you help?? We are needing supplies (scents) for both boys and girls, and products for ALL skin and hair types! It got hot this summer and our inventory is low.

We could also use large sandal slides. Both our boys and our girls love these shoes. Thank you for any help you can give! ๐Ÿ’™

We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible board members who are concluding their service with Ouachita Children, Youth & Family Services.

Serving on a nonprofit board is often a behind-the-scenes commitment. One filled with deep conversations, difficult decisions, advocacy, event planning, and a genuine desire to make our community healthier and safer. Throughout their time with us, each of these members has led with a servant's heart, generously sharing their time, talents, and wisdom to help guide our mission.

Staci Caver, Susan Millerd, and Jackie Arrison... Because of your dedication, our organization is stronger and those we serve are better supported. Thank you for believing in our mission and for giving so much of yourselves.

Please join us in thanking these outstanding leaders for their faithful service. ๐Ÿ’™

And some ride because every mile helps make a difference for children and families in our community.

Whatever your reason...

Ride with purpose. Ride together.
