During his twenty-five-year career as the National Park Service chief photographer, George Grant took over 30,000 photos of people, landscapes, and cultural resources across the country. These images inspired millions to explore the national parks' natural wonders, yet he is not credited with these iconic works. This Park Chat will explore Grant's NPS career and his two visits to Hot Springs National Park.

This program is part of the collaborative series between Garland County Library and Hot Springs National Park, and can be attended in person or watched via livestream on the Library’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/user/GarlandCoLibrary or the Garland County Library page.

Park Chats: Light Through the Lens: Images by NPS Eminent Photographer George Grant starts at 12 PM on Wednesday!

STILL LOOKING FOR: New or gently worn costumes of ALL sizes! Drop them off to our Children's desk area 🍭

Our Costume Closet will open on Saturday, September 26th. Costumes are available for ages 0-18, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Limit one costume per child or teen. The GCL Costume Closet closes 30 minutes before the library.

🐉🎲 Dungeon Masters (ages 14-18), unite! ...at 4 PM on Wednesday, August 19th!

You can learn how to be a Dungeon Master, help shape a shared fantasy world in which the library’s D&D games will take place, and prepare your own distinct stories and encounters to run within that world during D&D Club! All DMs are welcome, with any level of experience.

Registration is recommended but not required.
Group visits by appointment only.
