๐Ÿ“ฌ Important Mailing Update for Tax Payments ๐Ÿ“ฌ

We want to make sure your tax payments arrive safely and on time!

The United States Postal Service (USPS) has implemented updates that may affect mail delivery times. If you are mailing your tax payments, please keep the following in mind:

โœ”๏ธ Allow extra time for delivery
โœ”๏ธ Mail your payment well in advance of the deadline
โœ”๏ธ Ensure your envelope is properly addressed and has correct postage
โœ”๏ธ Consider using tracking services for added peace of mind

To avoid penalties, payments must be received by the deadline, not just postmarked.

If you have any questions about your payment or need alternative options, please contact our office. Weโ€™re here to help!

This is a friendly reminder that the deadline is quickly approaching to pay your 2024 taxes without penalty.

WE WILL BE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL 6:30 pm WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15TH.

You can come in, mail in your payment, pay online at arkansastaxsearch.com (processing fees apply) or stop by the drop box located in the alley next to our office. Taxes are due annually in Arkansas on October 15th. Payments that are mailed in must be postmarked October 15th or before. Any payments postmarked or placed in the drop box October 16th or after will be returned with penalties/interest/costs and will have to be paid with cash, money order or cashier's check. We DO NOT accept or debit/credit card payments from October 16th until approximately the beginning of November.

We do accept partial payments of any amount only on current taxes March 1st thru October 15th. Paying your taxes on time will minimize inconveniences when getting your vehicle licensed, save you the 10% penalty, interest, redemption fee & advertising cost.

If your county trash bill is delinquent we will not be able to accept your property tax payment. County Ordinance no 0-01-14 requires county trash bills be current before property taxes can be paid. To contact the Environmental Services about your trash bill, please call 501-622-3658.

Our office has a website that you may use to see if your taxes have been paid, print a tax statement or print a receipt. The website is arkansastaxsearch.com.

If you do not receive a tax statement, this DOES NOT EXCUSE YOU from taxes or penalties (ACA.26-35-706).

PLEASE EXAMINE YOUR TAX STATEMENT AND RECEIPTS. If you buy, sell or make any deed change, please let us know so we may make the proper adjustments to your account. IF A PARCEL IS MISSED THIS DOES NOT EXCUSE YOU FROM PENALTIES; only you know what you own.
