The Houghton Lake Rotary Club Car Cruise and Show starts this Friday, August 14. The car cruise begins at Don Nester Auto Group at 6:30 pm and cruises around Houghton Lake so grab your lawn chair and find your favorite spot to watch the 200+ cars. Reminder: Early Voting is underway and we are open Saturday and Sunday, August 1st and 2nd, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, for casting your August Primary ballot.
On Tuesday, August 4, the polls will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Independence Day holiday weekend. Please note that Township offices and Compost/Recycle Center will be closed July 3 and 4.

We have been getting a lot of calls about the miss dig flags around the Township. We were able to get some information today from Frontier.

Please be advised that a fiber internet contractor will be working throughout the township in the coming weeks. Crews will be documenting roadways and infrastructure from public roads and utility easements as part of their scheduled work.
