This week, we’re switching things up from our usual USG Member of the Week to recognize someone who truly stands above the rest: our USG Member of the Year.
David Reeves just wrapped up his final meeting last night, closing out two incredible years on the body. This past year he served as Treasurer, and previously has contributed as Webmaster. Across both years, he’s consistently gone above and beyond every role he’s taken on.
From managing an unprecedented financial year with care and precision to stepping in as our resident photographer, David has always been willing to jump in wherever he’s needed. No matter the task, he brings a calm, steady presence and a level of experience that elevates everything around him.
He’s also the person everyone turns to when they need an answer, about procedures, logistics, how things work, or even just for advice, and somehow, he always knows. He’s been a go-to resource for the entire organization in the best way.
USG won’t be the same without him, and his impact will be felt long after his time here. Congratulations, David, our USG Member of the Year!
