On July 1, Jacqueline E. Huntoon left her position as provost and senior vice president for academic affairs to start an exiting new adventure as the director of the Division of Graduate Education (DGE) at the National Science Foundation (NSF). In her absence, Andrew Storer, dean of the College of Forest Resources and Environmental Science, will begin a new role at the University by serving as interim provost and senior vice president for academic affairs.

Michigan Tech will conduct a national search for a new provost beginning this fall.
