Today’s the day!!!

Join us from 10-4 at Calumet Waterworks Park for a celebration of HKCD’s 75th anniversary!

Find the large and white HKCD tent for an event booklet full of HKCD, vendor, and activity location info, beverages and stickers for sale, and to say hi! The first 50 people to stop by and sign get a free sticker!

Scheduled activities:

Forest Tours by Green Timber: 10:30, 12:00, 1:30, 3:00.

Beach Walk by Erika Vye: 1:00, 2:00, 3:00.

Arborist demonstrations: 10-4

Bouncy House and Arts and Crafts: 11-3.
- Bouncy house use requires a signed waiver

Bottled Water, sparkling water, and pop will be available for $1 a piece, coffee from Keweenaw Coffee Works will be available for free, and stickers will be available for $3 a piece.

🌱 Tree Sale Update! 🌱

Starting tomorrow, Saturday, May 16th at 11:00 AM, all remaining tree sale stock will be reduced to HALF PRICE to help us liquidate inventory during our sale!

Those who come earlier in the day will still have access to the best selection, while the half price sale will apply to whatever inventory remains at 11:00 AM. If you don’t mind a more limited selection, this will be a great opportunity to pick up some plants at a discount while supplies last.

Days 2 and 3 of Tree Sale prep are wrapped up and ready for the main event tomorrow morning, Saturday, May 16th from 9-12 at the Drill Shop / Copper Country Curling Club building!

Today was the first day of our annual Tree Sale prep! Our volunteers started by unpacking nursery orders and finished by bagging and tagging a majority of our fruit trees!

Big thanks to Art, Doug, Steve, Jim, Joash, Kiersten, Annique, Ben, and Matthew for all of the help! Looking forward to the next few days of setup!
