The King and Queen County Sheriff’s Office extends its deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to Sheriff Kemp, the members of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office, the families of the deputies involved, and the entire Carroll County community. We mourn the tragic loss of a deputy and pray for the full recovery of the deputy who was injured. Our thoughts remain with all those affected during this difficult time.

During National Police Week, the King and Queen County Sheriff’s Office proudly stands with communities across the nation in recognizing the dedication, professionalism, and courage displayed by law enforcement officers each day in service to others.

We also pause to honor and remember the brave officers who gave their lives in the line of duty. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten, and we continue to keep their families, friends, and fellow officers in our thoughts during this week of remembrance.
