Charlotte County Treasurer's Office Specializing in the processing of Charlotte County 's revenue. The elected post of the Treasurer was created in the Virginia Constitution of 1870.

The Treasurer is the chief financial officer for Charlotte County and is responsible for the collection, custody, and disbursement of county funds. The Treasurer manages every form of revenue, the investment of local funds, and maintains records of local finances. The Treasurer's independent status as an elected official ensures that local funds will be collected, invested, and spent by an officer who reports directly to the people.

Fiscal Tax Year 2023/2024 - 1st Half Statements - Due December 5, 2023

Due to several issues related to the statement process, the tax statements are behind schedule in this billing cycle. The county tax statements have been submitted to the printers and are scheduled to be mailed by November 17, 2023.

By resolution of the Charlotte County Board of Supervisors on November 15, 2023, an extension was granted to pay the taxes due December 5, 2023, without late charges to January 5, 2024.
