The time is here! The 5th annual Plant and Seed Swap at the James L. Hamner Public Library will be on Saturday, April 18th from 9 - 11am.

Bring your seeds, starter plants, cuttings, and more to share and swap. Don't have plants to bring? No problem! Come out and meet with other local gardeners and plant lovers alike.

New this year: Soil sample drive!
Want to test your soil in your lawn, garden, pasture, or crop field? Bring a sample to the Amelia Cooperative Extension Office by May 1st and we will mail it for you for FREE!
A few details:
- Boxes can be picked up at the plant swap on April 18th or at the Amelia Cooperative Extension office anytime
- Home lawn and garden samples cost $10/sample with a check made out to the Treasurer of Virginia Tech ($50 returned check fee)
- Pasture and crop field samples are free to test, and free to ship with this event!
