6th grade Orientation will be held on Wednesday. August 3rd, from 5:00-7:00.

Open House will be held on Thursday, August 4th from 12:00-7:00. Come out and join us and meet the teachers.

8th Grade Completion Ceremony

This event will take place on Wednesday, May 25 at 9:00 a.m. in the ACHS auditorium. The ceremony will include all students who have successfully completed the 8th grade. Each family will be given four tickets. At 8:55 a.m. any additional family memebrs, without tickets, will be allowed in. Students may be signed out after the ceremony. Parents will need to see the teacher table in the front lobby to sign their child out.
We look forward to this very special occasion!

8th grade school dance will be held on Saturday, April 30th from 6 pm - 9 pm. The last day to purchase tickets is this Friday, tickets will not be sold at the door. Drop off will occur in the normal car rider pickup behind the school. Please enter from the high school area, up the hill to the middle school, drop off your child at the beginning of the middle school bus loop. No parents will be permitted to enter the bus loop area.

Attention parents of 8th graders!!!

8th grade spring formal April 30th from 6 pm-9 pm. Tickets will be on sale all week for $10. We are asking for cases of water to be donated and dropped off at the school throughout the week for the students.

Yesterday we honored those 7th gade students whose hard work warranted their induction into the National Junior Honor Society. I would also like to thank Mrs. Wells and Mrs. Flippen for all of their hard work putting this event together.

The boy's baseball game for today has been postponed. A makeup date is currently being worked on, and we will let you know that date once it has been confirmed. The baseball team will still hold practice today. The softball game is still on as planned to start at 4:30.
