Grateful for a full morning in the community.

It started at Harlem River Farms with founder Mr. Ron and his wife, learning about food security and what it means to invest in cultivation from the ground up, and a big thank you to the Wheeler Avenue Young Adults who showed up to put in work in the garden alongside us!

Then to Attucks Middle School for a community giveaway with school supplies, haircuts, and shoes for kids, with a local restaurant stepping up to feed the whole community.

And Trinity United Methodist Church for an honest conversation about healthcare access and what it truly means to serve Harris County families.

Excited for more days like this on the campaign trail.

Governor Abbott doesn't get to rewrite history.

If he knew what Black Texans needed, he had eleven years to deliver it.

Instead, he delivered rejected ballots, closed clinics, and gerrymandered maps.

We remember. And in November, we will respond.
