Community-based Working TogetherTo Support & Improve Our Quality of Life in AliefEstablished 1993 The Alief Community Association, Inc. P.O.
is a not-for-profit organization (501 c3) committed to working hard to support and improve the Alief community. We can only accomplish this task with the generosity and funding from our own community. The ACA has the following projects in progress:
1.Beautification and enhancing Alief Historic Cemetery
2.Providing periodic open networking events to help local business
3.Offering community service
volunteer hour opportunities
4.Reforesting common areas of Alief for beautification
5.Coordinating supplementary community common area cleanup projects
6.Assisting community in coordinating graffiti remediation
7.Spearheading community enjoyment venues such as parades and festivals
8.Sharing information with the community about resources and events
9.Promoting safety through crime prevention and awareness programs
10.Supporting communication and involvement between youth and seniors
The Alief Community Association has been the recipient of many awards in recognition for our hard work to improve the quality of life in Alief. Without the effort and financial support from local residents and business, the ACA can't carry out the above projects that help keep Alief a cleaner, safer and a more beautiful place to live and work. Please help us to continue our mission. Sponsorship benefits this year include recognition certificates, email newsletter of ACA activities, and invitations to special commuity events. Premium(*) sponsors will also receive name placement on event banners, signage, flyers & email broadcasts & more. : I was invited to speak at the 9th Annual Alief Community Association Honor a Hero Luncheon honoring Houston Fire Department and Houston Police Department veterans and others on Saturday.
Elected representatives gave a salute to the 2019 Veterans & Explorer Award recipients for their initial enlistment and continuing service to the nation and their community. These honorees embody leadership, resiliency, and fortitude.

Mission accomplished! More than 70 kids had their hearts fulfilled with joy last Friday night at the 2017 Parent Child Dance. The kids were dancing nonstop. It couldn’t have been done without all our partners and sponsors. Special thanks to Alief Community Association, Alief Independent School District, Alief Family YMCA, Prosperity Bank, Outreach Strategists, LLC, House Rep. Al Green, Allegiance Bank, Direct Energy, UnitedHealthcare, Once Upon A Dream Tea Parties, The NRP Group LLC, Mama La's Kitchen, H-E-B, Chick-fil-A at Hwy. 6 and Bellaire, State Representative Hubert Vo, Chinese Community Center of Houston, and Capital One Bank for the tremendous support.
