The Namal University Cricket Tournament, held at Kingsmen Arena in Houston on April 18, 2026, proved to be an energetic and meaningful gathering. With Karachi XI, Lahore XI, Islamabad XI, and Peshawar XI competing, the matches showcased both strong competition and a spirit of unity among players and supporters.
More than just a sporting event, the tournament highlighted the purpose and vision of Namal University. Attendees showed genuine interest in its mission, engaging in thoughtful discussions and learning about ongoing initiatives. Many were also invited to take part in the upcoming Namal Knowledge City fundraiser on May 3.
The event’s success reflects the efforts of many individuals. Credit goes to the chief organizer, Ali Sarwar Barlas, along with the team captains; Jawad Babar, Usman Khan, Ali Sarwar Barlas, and Syed Asif, for leading their sides with dedication and sportsmanship. Special appreciation is also due to Sajjad Burki, whose continued support and commitment to the vision of Namal University play an important role in advancing its educational mission.
