Such a moving evening hearing the story of Fredy Hirsch, an openly gay Jewish man who set up a daycare for some 600 children in Auschwitz, fighting to his last breath to maintain their human dignity and provide some momentary happiness to the children he cared for.

We’d like to thank our partner the the Montrose Center and Director of the film “Dear Fredy”, Rubi Gat, for joining with us to share this remarkable story and to keep Fredy’s memory alive.

May we never stop sharing these stories, so that we may always remember. #InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay #WeRemember #NeverForget
