WATER NOTICE – CITY OF HOUSTON

Houston residents, please be advised that a water leak occurred on Church Street near the Tanglefoot Trailhead.
Residents along Airport Road, Church Street, and surrounding areas may temporarily experience discolored or dirty water as a result.

If you experience this, please run an outside faucet for several minutes until the water runs clear. This will help flush any sediment from your water line.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to keep our water system operating properly.

Renovation begins today on the pavilion by the splash pad. Please bare with us during this time. In the end you will have a much better place than what you have now. Tents are allowed for shade and you may still bring chairs to put under the trees to escape the sun. Bathrooms come next 😁.

Traffic Advisory – City of Houston

The City of Houston asks motorists to use extra caution at the traffic signal located at the intersection of North Jackson Street, Malcomb Street, Pontotoc Street, and 1st Avenue.

City crews have made several attempts to repair the signal; however, the issue remains unresolved. A traffic signal technician from out of town has been notified and is expected to arrive tomorrow to complete the necessary repairs.
Please approach the intersection carefully until repairs are completed.
