We are saddened to learn of the passing of Enders A. Robinson. Enders was an American geophysicist and one of the scientists responsible for the transition from analog to digital data processing in geophysics. Along with that achievement, Enders was a pivotal figure at SEG, authoring numerous papers and essays, and the recipient of several awards, including the Honorary Membership award, the Reginald Fessenden Award, and the Maurice Ewing Medal.
Enders also established an endowment at SEG in 2014, The Enders Robinson Scholarship endowment, to provide academic merit-based scholarships to a junior or senior student pursuing a degree (major or minor) in geophysics at an accredited university. If you'd like to honor the life of Enders Robinson with a donation, please consider donating to his endowment fund: https://go.seg.org/3Yue9I8
Our condolences go out to Enders' family, friends and colleagues.
