Today is National Cancer Survivor’s day, a day when people across the globe hold celebrations to honor cancer survivors and raise awareness about the challenges of cancer survivorship. The Energy Corridor District joins the legions of people in offering our support.
MD Anderson Cancer Center, a major employer in the Energy Corridor District, has been ranked the No. 1 hospital for cancer care in the nation by U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hospitals” survey. While MD Anderson believes survivors deserve to be celebrated all year, it will host a series of special events to celebrate cancer survivors and their caregivers June 6-12, 2021, to commemorate National Cancer Survivors Day.
