Growing up in the 60s & 70s, I remember seeing copies of our Country's Declaration of Independence displayed in many places such as schools, public buildings, businesses, etc. Rarely do I see them anywhere anymore which is sad.
This is one of my copies which I found in a garage sale about a decade or so ago. Already framed, 26" x 35." We hung this in our old shop high on the wall behind our cash register for all to see.
This enlarged print was made for the Citizens State Bank, Sweeney, Texas. Many copies of this size were printed in mass during WW2. This one printed by the Ohman Co. Memphis, Tennessee in 1942.
This wonderful copy now resides with us.
I wish more copies of the Declaration of Independence were publicly displayed so as a reminder to everyone of how great our country is and how far we as a nation have gone so far.
Bless our United States of America 🇺🇸
