Pictures range from 1940-Present of American soldiers stationed overseas, Thanksgiving often offers a much-needed reminder of home. As they feast on essentials, and soldiers take time to spread the generous spirit of the holiday while enjoying Thanksgiving traditions like a game of touch football, a modest parade, or a prayer among friends.

Happy Thanksgiving #goarmyhouston
