A big thank you for the invitation to speak at the Houston Elementary Career Day today! We really appreciated the opportunity to share our experiences and talk with such great students.

⭐️ SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY

The deadline is April 17, 2026.
We are now taking applications for the annual Bluff Country Hidden Heroes scholarship opportunity.

Applications are open to current graduating High School Seniors who attended a High School in Houston, Winona, or Fillmore Counties in MN OR live in Houston, Winona, or Fillmore Counties in MN, who wish to pursue a degree in Law Enforcement, EMS, Firefighting, Human Services, or any other fields of Public Service.

Applications must be post-marked by April 17th, 2026. All applications submitted after this deadline will not be considered.

🏆 Scholarship winners will be notified May 2026.

💵 Scholarship money will be distributed in one payment at the Bluff Country Hidden Heroes Golf Tournament held in June 2026.

✅ All Scholarship money must be claimed by December 31st, 2026.

Applications can be found at your local police/fire department, or any of the Winona Co, Fillmore Co, Houston Co schools.

A Good Samaritan picked this dog up on Highway 16 between Houston and Rushford today. The dog is a male with a blue collar.
