Get to know our department:

Zach Drusch

Zach is 33 years old. He has been on the department for a total of 7 years.

Zach works full time at Joe’s Sport Shop

He enjoys being part of a department that helps others, and in his free time he enjoys spending time at the lake.

Zach shares two boys, Kaden -23 months and Kaleb - 4 months, with his girlfriend Abby. He comes from a family of firefighters. His dad, Joe, was on for 41 yrs and his brother Jake and brother in law Eric are currently on the department.

Christena Dickens (Young)

Christena is 38 years old and has been on the department for 3 years.

Christena works full time as an ER nurse. She has served for eight years in the United States Air Force and seven years in the USAF Reserve.

She enjoys serving the community, challenging herself to step outside my comfort zone, and the comradery of our team.

She enjoys playing volleyball, hunting, and fishing.

Christena’s husband is Ben. They have three kids - Bradley, Lucas, and Emma. Her Grandpa, James Wackler, served on HLFD for 32 years and inspired her to join.

Amanda Loebertmann

Amanda is 43 years old and has been on the department for 6 years. She is also the department secretary.

Amanda has been with Dura Supreme for 23 years and currently is a commercial finance manager.

Amanda enjoys the friendships on the department, helping the community, and how the department pushes her to try new things.

Amanda’s husband is Craig, he is also a member of the department. Together they have five kids: four daughters - Samantha, Kali, Lanney, Payton, one son - Riley, five grandkids plus one on the way, and a chocolate lab - Mack

Nicole Kittock

Nicole is 43 years old and has been on the department for 6 years.
Nicole enjoys being involved and helping in the community. In her free time she enjoys skiing, hiking, and traveling.

Nicole works full time as the HLWW District Office Assistant and Special Education Secretary.

Nicole’s husband is Brian, who is also a member of the department. They have two daughters - Payton and Grace, a son - Jackson, and dog Jersey

Get to know our department:

Captain Jake Drusch

Jake is 36 years old and has been on the department for 17 years. Jake is also the Ambulance Director.
Jake enjoys helping the community in times of need, camaraderie within the dept., and the unique experiences he gets to be a part of by being a member.
In his free time he enjoys woodworking (JD17Woodworks on Instagram) and watching the Vikings and the Wild

Jake is a full time Paramedic for Ridgeview

Jake’s and his Ann share a dog, Finley. He has a brother currently serving on the department with him and he was able to serve alongside his dad until his retirement.

One of Jake’s early calls as a member was a cardiac arrest call. That patient was his grandpa and they were able to saved him.

Captain Brian Kittock

Brian is 43 years old and has been on the department for 12 years. He is also the department janitor.
He enjoys the excitement and the challenge to push himself outside of his comfort zone.
In his free time he enjoys fishing, skiing, golfing, bowling, traveling, and coaching his kids sports teams.

Brian owns and operates Lakeside Decorating, his painting business.

Brian’s wife is Nicole, who is also a member of the department, his two daughters - Payton 17, Grace 12, and son Jackson 10

Brian’s Grandpa was the Waverly Fire Chief for many years until his death.

Captain Craig Loebertmann

Craig is 52 years old and has been on the department for 33 years. He currently has the longest tenure on the department. Craig enjoys being able to help the community and the relationships he has built within the fire department.
Craig has been with Dura Supreme for 25 years and has been a supervisor over many departments.

In his free time he enjoys camping, ice fishing, and spending time with his wife, Amanda, who is also a member of the department, and their four daughters - Samantha, Kali, Lanney, Payton, one son - Riley, five grandkids, and one on the way.

Assistant Fire Chief David Peterson

David is 43 years old and has been on the department for 22 years. David enjoys the camaraderie of the department and helping those in the community.

In his free time David enjoys hunting, hiking, and many other activities including spending time with his wife Ailyn and 4 daughters -Julianna, Eliisa, Emily, Lucille and son Christopher. David and his son completed an 80 mile hike to the base camp of Mount Everest.

David owns and operates Peterson Farms as a commercial beekeeper

Assistant Fire Chief Alex Mages

Alex is 35 years old and has been on the department for 15 years and enjoys helping the community.

In his free time he enjoys Ice fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife Laura and their two dogs.

Alex owns and operates Mages Rental in Howard Lake

Get to know our department:
This is Fire Chief Eric Stoll, Eric is 47 years old and has been on the department for 26 years
Eric enjoys helping people in community, getting to know and work with his FD family.

In his free time he likes spending time with family, Wife- Amanda, Son-Wyatt, Daughter- Carly, and fishing, and hunting. Eric works full time at Joes Sport Shop & Hardware

Eric’s Dad was member of HLFD, was able to serve on dept with him until his retirement in 2005 with 27yrs. He currently has a brother, nephew, and step brother serving on different fire department’s.
