Reminder! SATURDAY AUGUST 8, 2PM

The Miner County Historical Society is excited to welcome Hailey Kizer as she presents a program about her trip to Vietnam. She is the daughter of Brian and Heather Kizer. Hailey will be a junior at SDSU this year and is majoring in Animal Science.

Hailey Kizer will be sharing her experiences and photos from this recent study abroad trip. Her presentation will be held at the Miner County Rural Life Museum on Saturday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m. We will hear stories from her travels, learn about Vietnamese agriculture, and see photos highlighting the people, farms, and agricultural systems she encountered throughout the trip.

Kasemiestet Creamery is donating a cheese tray for our wine tasting on Saturday.
Kasemiester creamery is owned and operated by the Spink Hutterite Colony Kasemiester translates to Cheese Master in German. I love their reserve, aged sharp cheddar.

Saturday is our Man cave she shed garden tour9am - noon!
Following the tour stop by the Rural Life Museum because:
Back by popular demand is The Cornerpost Grapefarm and Winehouse with wine tasting! Ryan will have bottles of wine for sale and a limited number of wine slushies at $5 each. Ryan and Sam’s wines are made from grapes grown in South Dakota. If you have not visited the grape farm and wine house, you need to plan a visit. The beautiful scenery and tranquil country landscape make for a relaxing time. Please check out their page and website for more information on hours of operation and special events.
