Middle School Student Council provided and served jumbo ice pops for all Middle School students to welcome them back for the new school year! It was a nice treat to help cool everyone down the first few warm days of the year!

Have you seen our new friend, Scott the Coyote? Please NOTE- he is NOT real. He is a decoy, along with our new white swans to help deter the geese that took up residence in our middle school retention pond over the summer. So far Scott and our Swans are doing their jobs. We have received a few resident calls and emails worried about a loose coyote. No Worries! Scott the Coyote is a friend and not a foe.

Howards Grove welcomed our fifth graders as they took a big step into the middle school this year.

Check out the new mural outside the band and choir rooms! The mural was designed by senior art student Madi. She and senior art student Alexia spent 175 hours, many during the summer, to complete this project and shine a light on the importance of arts in our school!

Day 1 is in the books! Ms. Houston and our HGHS Student Council officers welcomed back students with an assembly to kick off the 2026/2027 school year. We are happy to see our students back in the hallways and excited to see what the year brings!
