Ironically, we have Chamber of Commerce weather for the 40th Annual Founders Day Festival today! Let’s do this!

TOMORROW IS THE 40TH ANNUAL FOUNDERS DAY FESTIVAL!!!!!!!!! Downtown Howe will be packed with opportunities for shopping and plenty of food items to choose from 4pm - 8pm including turkey legs and sausage-on-a stick sold at our booth (yes, we will take cards). There will be the return of the Interurban Kid Train and the Pirate Ship ride for the kids (free rides thanks to Rapid Electric LLC and Guns N More LLC.). There will be a Boneless Rib Eating Contest at 7 pm thanks to Don's Smokehouse. Wall Street Winery and 903 Brewers will have refreshments for adults. Here's your chance to support those this evening who have supported this community for decades!

The Howe Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 12th Annual Howe Hall of Honor and Awards Ceremony TONIGHT! at Howe High School at 6:30.

This year's inductees are Jesse Farrer, Derek Lands, Tim Rose, and Kevin Wilson. The Chamber Awards will go to MTE Fence - Business of the Year; Jessica Acevedo - Jean Norman Volunteer of the Year; Harvey's Blessing Build - Volunteer Organization of the Year; and Jared Coffey - Norma J. Wallace Citizen of the Year.

There is no charge to attend the event, which will be located at Howe High School, 200 Ponderosa Rd, with a start time of 6:30 pm.
