We are so appreciative of Marcy Deeds, Jake Skifstad, & Jacinda VanDyk from Shield616. They have donated over 9000 vests in the 11 years they’ve been doing this and our police department is lucky to be part of that number! Thank you for not only helping keep our officers safe but so many others!

📣 A FEW QUICK UPDATES! 📣

If you would like an emailed copy of any of the entry forms, please email me at [email protected]. I’ll send them right over!

The forms will also be updated to include the sweatshirt option. I’ll be honest… I wasn’t thinking when I updated these from last year…I was too excited! 😂 So, we’re fixing that!

👕 SHIRT ORDERS
Shirts will be available for ANYONE to order, whether you are participating in the 5K or not. I’ll have an order form available on Monday for anyone who would like to purchase one!

🏃‍♀️ 5K PARTICIPANTS
If you are participating in the 5K, a T-SHIRT IS INCLUDED with your registration!

If you would prefer a sweatshirt instead of a T-shirt, or if you would like to purchase a sweatshirt in addition to your T-shirt, there will be an additional fee.

⚠️ PLEASE PRE-ORDER BY 11/30/26
We will have a very limited number of shirts and sweatshirts available the day of the event, so please pre-order to make sure you get the size and style you want/need!

Mark your calendars because Saturday, December 12, 2026 is going to be a BIG day in Howe! ❤️💚

We’ve got a whole day of Christmas fun planned for our community, and we can’t wait to celebrate the holiday season with you! 🎅🏼🎄

🏃‍♀️🎄 HOWE-LIDAY 5K JINGLE RUN
⏰ Registration: 7:00 AM
🏁 Race Start: 8:00 AM
Lace up those running shoes, throw on your best Christmas gear, and come JINGLE all the way through Howe! 🔔

🛍️🎁 HOWE-LIDAY MARKET
⏰ 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
🎪 Vendor Set-Up: 9:00 AM

Come shop local, support small businesses, find some unique Christmas gifts, grab some goodies, and enjoy a day in our community! ❤️

🧹HOWE COMMUNITY ROADSIDE CLEANUP — ROUND 2!🧹

The Town of Howe is doing a second roadside cleanup, and we need volunteers.🏡✨

📅 Saturday, September 26th
⏰ Meet at 7:30 AM
📍 Old Tote-A-Poke

Please bring:
💧 Plenty of water
🧤 Gloves if you have them
👟 Comfortable, closed-toe shoes

🚨 High-visibility vests will be provided by SOS Fire to help keep everyone safe while we’re out along the highway.

Whether you can stay for the whole cleanup or only help for a little while, every set of hands makes a difference! ❤️
