🏈Howell Area Jr. Football League & .cheer.pom kicked off their season this past weekend! 📣
Before the season even started, many coaches, team moms, players, and cheerleaders were already putting in some work.
🚑LCEMS assisted in providing the CPR and First Aid training. Taking the time to learn these skills shows true leadership and dedication to keeping everyone safe on and off the field. We were thrilled to help them step up and prepare to look out for one another.

🏅Last week, the City of Brighton held a first responder recognition event down at the AMP to celebrate area police, fire, EMS, and dispatchers for their incredible work and support of the Livingston county community. With family and friends in attendance, we proudly recognized two of our exceptional EMS providers for their unwavering dedication, compassion, and commitment to delivering the absolute best care to our patients.
Going above and beyond is second nature to this team, and we are so grateful for the impact they make in our community every single day.

Last week, our Medical Control Authority celebrated the graduation of the U of M EMS Fellows. Each year, two fellows join our program to expand their knowledge of emergency medical services while working alongside our crews in the field. We have greatly valued their support and clinical insight, and while we are sad to see them depart, we look forward to welcoming the next group of fellows.

🚑As part of the celebration, the fellows recognized two of our team members for their outstanding contributions to EMS. Will Eastman was honored with the “Best Differentials” award for his consistent use of evidence-based practices and his ability to think beyond traditional EMS approaches, incorporating principles of emergency medicine and critical care to deliver exceptional patient care.

🎒Saralynn Bush was recognized as Educator of the Year. Her passion for teaching is evident in her ongoing commitment to developing the next generation of paramedics and instructor coordinators.

👏We are proud to have both Will and Saralynn as part of LCEMS and sincerely appreciate their dedication and the positive impact they make on our organization and the community we serve.🏅
