Livingston County Homeless Continuum of Care

Livingston County Homeless Continuum of Care Develop and coordinate a continuum of housing and services for homeless individuals and families and those at-risk of homelessness in Livingston County.

Housing has been prioritized as one on the top community needs by members of the Human Services Collaborative Body and as a basic need by consumers. The housing continuum spans from prevention programs to emergency shelter and services to transitional and supportive housing to affordable housing. Supportive services are also essential to ensure the housing is maintained.

The Walk for Warmth is more than a walk. It’s a community-powered effort to help local families, seniors, and individuals stay safe, warm, and housed during the coldest months of the year. Funds raised through this event provide critical heating assistance right here in Livingston County.

There are many ways to get involved:
β€’ Attend the event and walk with neighbors who care!
β€’ Form or join a fundraising team with friends, family, or coworkers!
β€’ Become an event sponsor and show your commitment to community well-being!
β€’ Donate to support neighbors facing heating emergencies!

Every step taken and every dollar raised stays local and makes a real difference.

OLHSA is hosting a Household Cleaning Supply Drive to support households who have recently moved into housing through one of their programs.

Many households enter their new homes with very limited resources and basic cleaning supplies can make a meaningful difference as they settle in!

Donations can be dropped off at the OLHSA office in Howell - see flyer for additional details.

Any donations - large or small can help our neighbors start their new chapter.

Moving into a new home is exciting, but many local people that achieve that goal with OLHSA's housing programs arrive with very few essentials. We’re hosting a Household Cleaning Supply Drive to help welcome our neighbors with the needed basics to keep their new space clean, comfy, and safe.

We’re collecting:
🧺 Laundry detergent β€’ 🧽 Bathroom cleaner β€’ ✨ All-purpose cleaner β€’ 🧹 Broom/Mop β€’ 🧻 Paper products β€’ 🍽️ Dish soap β€’ 🧼Glass spray, and more.

Your donation, large or small, helps families begin their next chapter with stability and dignity.

πŸ“Drop-off location & full list of needed items are in the flyer.
Together, we can make a house feel like home. πŸ’™πŸ§‘
