Great tips on avoiding scams from KeyBank!

Scammers often create urgency, but knowing the warning signs can help you stay one step ahead.

Watch for:
• Unexpected calls or messages
• Requests for personal information
• Pressure to send money quickly

If something feels off, hang up and contact your bank using a trusted number, such as the number on the back of your debit or credit card.

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day! If you believe a senior is in immediate physical danger, please dial 911 or contact your local police department immediately. To report suspected abuse, you can also reach the Eldercare Locator at 1-800-677-1116 or find your state's reporting agency via the National Adult Protective Services Association.

June 15 is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

Abuse of elderly people is one of the most shameful, and disturbing human rights violation issues of our times, that is prevalent across the world, particularly in developing nations, and yet is grossly overlooked. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines elder abuse as "a single or repeated act, or lack of appropriate action, occurring within any relationship where there is an expectation of trust, which causes harm or distress to an older person.
